1580 the Fanatic is the latest station to add NBC Sports Radio’s The Daily Line to its lineup. The show, hosted by Tim Murray and Michael Jenkins, will air weekdays at 1pm local time. The Fanatic will carry two of the show’s four hours.
The Daily Line is an addition that makes a lot of sense for the Phoenix market. Arizona is one of 24 states with legislation to legalize sports betting. In 2017, the Supreme Court paved the way for individual states to legalize sports betting by striking down the federal ban. Eleven states have already legalized it.
“We are excited to be the first radio station in Phoenix to air a daily program focusing on the popular sports gaming industry,” President of CRC Broadcasting, Ron Cohen said in a press release. “The addition of the The Daily Line completes a recent transformation of our daily programming.”
