With Tom Nalen leaving to relocate to the Northeast for personal reasons, 104.3 The Fan in Denver is turning to a familiar face to fill his void. Tyler Polumbus is rejoining The Fan as part of ‘The Drive’ alongside Darren ‘DMac’ McKee and former midday host and former Bronco Nick Ferguson.
“I’m ecstatic to come home to the place my radio career started and honored to be joining Denver’s most iconic sports talk radio show,” said Polumbus. “Nick and DMac are phenomenal at what they do, and together we’ll look to entertain and educate the listeners with our raw and authentic opinions. I can’t wait to get started.”
The trio will be heard weekday afternoons from 3p-7p MT. This is The Fan’s second change to afternoon drive since April 2019 following the departure of Alfred Williams. Williams is now part of the afternoon show on KOA.
104.3 The Fan’s program director Raj Sharan added, “We viewed this as a unique opportunity to evolve ‘The Drive’ and present something that hasn’t been done before. Tyler’s perspective from playing offensive line is totally different from Nick’s on defense. Those differing viewpoints, facilitated by DMac’s 30 years of experience, will lead to fascinating conversations, analysis and fun.”
