Mike Krzyzewski’s primary job may be coaching basketball, but he loves broadcasting at least enough to keep at it. The Hall of Fame coach of the Duke Blue Devils has signed a multi-year extension with SiriusXM to continue hosting his weekly show Basketball and Beyond with Coach K.
The show’s 15th season debuts this week. Dallas Cowboy’s coach Jason Garrett and recently retired Cy Young winner CC Sabathia will be the guests on the first episode.
“We are excited to continue our long-standing relationship with SiriusXM,” Krzyzewski said in a press release. “The show has given us a platform to discuss important issues. More than that, it has provided me with an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the most successful professionals on the planet for 14 seasons. Informing our listeners, and hopefully entertaining them along the way, has always been our priority and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 15 and beyond.”
The show can be heard on two SiriusXM channels. Episodes debut each Thursday at 6 pm Eastern on ESPNU Radio during the basketball season with re-airs on both ESPNU Radio and ACC Radio. Episodes can also be heard on SiriusXM On Demand.
