Jason Myrtetus Out At 97.5 the Fanatic

After seven years with the station, Jason Myrtetus announced on Twitter that he was let go by 97.5 the Fanatic today.

Today was my last show on 97.5 The Fanatic. I was laid off after the show today. the company decided to eliminate a lot of positions including mine. I spent more than 7 years with The Fanatic And worked with a lot of great people.

Myrtetus was a part of the station’s mid day show. He also contributed to the station’s Philadelphia Flyers broadcasts and served as Assistant Program Director.

In his tweet, Myrtetus said that he was one of several layoffs today. So far, there has been no news of other talent being let go. The Fanatic’s program director Eric Johnson told PhillyVoice.com via email that he couldn’t comment on personnel decisions.
