Perez rejoined ESPN in 2014, after his first four-year tenure as a Major League Baseball analyst for the network ended in 2010. After leaving ESPN, Perez joined the Miami Marlins’ dugout as their hitting coach in 2011 and would later serve as the Houston Astros bench coach in 2013.
