Jorge Sedano is moving back into 710 ESPN LA’s weekday lineup. His show will now run from 10am until noon weekdays in Los Angeles.
Sedano originally left Miami to lead ESPN 710 LA’s morning show. He later moved into afternoon drive. Last year, ESPN moved popular mid-day duo Mason and Ireland to afternoons and cleared the nationally syndicated Will Cain Show in mid days. That pushed Sedano’s program back to a night time slot, where it was prone to preemptions for live games.
The station had previously carried Stephen A. Smith’s show in the 10am-noon time slot. With Smith stepping away from radio, ESPN 710 LA chose to move Sedano back to the daytime rather than add First Take, Your Take from ESPN Radio.
ESPN 710 LA will roll out its new weekday lineup on Monday and will be back to carrying three local weekday shows.
