670 the Score has followed the Cubs to Spring Training. The station has sent Bernstein & McKnight and McNeil & Parkins to Mesa, Arizona to broadcast live from Sloan Park and from the Score House.
The four hosts and 2 digital content producers are sharing a house in Mesa. It comes complete with a swimming pool and fully equipped kitchen. One producer will follow the hosts to the field each day, while the other stays back to produce content from the house.
“The concept was conceived last year when pricing out hotel rooms for multiple shows to broadcast from Spring Training,” Score program director Mitch Rosen told BSM in an email. “It was more economical to rent a house and put everyone together.”
Rosen also promises “plenty of surprises” for fans from the Score House. The station will be presenting exclusivities content on air, on its website and through Radio.com.
