With the 2020 NASCAR season on hold until at least May 3, the Motor Racing Network is offering fans and listeners replays of classic races to supplement the hiatus.
MRN announced weekly re-broadcasts from their archive of classic races beginning this Sunday, March 22, which features the 2004 Ford 400 from Homestead-Miami Speedway. Each re-broadcast will air at 1pm ET and highlights the location and track where NASCAR was scheduled to be, before Covid-19 forced their season to be suspended.
The classic NASCAR races are scheduled to air through Sunday, May 3 on MRN’s more than 600 radio affiliates. The NASCAR season hasn’t been suspended beyond May 3, but that is certainly subject to change if the coronavirus pandemic is not under control by then.
