Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel returns on April 28. It will be the first episode of the show’s 25th anniversary season, and will be heavily focused on the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to segments focused on the lack of live sports, host Bryant Gumbel will also welcome some of the biggest names in play-by-play for a discussion of the pandemic.
CBS’s Jim Nantz, FOX’s Joe Buck, and NBC’s Doc Emrick will join Gumbel for a round table discussion of the sports world in the time of Covid-19.
Correspondent David Scott will host a segment that looks at the role sports played in the virus’s spread both in the US and around the world. John Finkle will lead a segment that looks at how leagues and companies are contributing to the relief effort.
The new episode of Real Sports With Bryan Gumbel will debut at 10 pm Eastern on April 28 on HBO. It will be available on the network’s digital platforms the next day.
