ESPN Agrees To Contract Extension For Field Yates

Field Yates is sticking around at ESPN. Outkick.com’s Bobby Burack reports that the network and Yates have agreed in principle to a new multi-year contract.

Yates will continue to serve as an insider for NFL coverage across multiple ESPN platforms. The new deal also comes with hosting duties. Yates will take over as the host of Fantasy Football Now on ESPN2.

Last season, Fantasy Football Now was hosted by Will Cain with Matthew Berry and Stephania Bell serving as analysts. Cain left ESPN for FOX News this summer. Berry and Bell will return to the show.

ESPN has been busy handing out new deals in recent weeks. Field Yates is just the latest talent with a contract set to expire in 2020 that the network chose not to let get away. ESPN announced new deals for Sarah Spain, Michelle Steele, and Sean McDonough earlier this week.
