Longtime NFL reporter Gary Myers announced a new podcast series, which will offer a detailed look at Tom Brady’s historic career and is set to debut next week.
No stranger to covering the iconic quarterback, Myers released a New York Times bestseller in 2016 titled Brady vs Manning. Similar to the book, Myers’ podcast The G.O.A.T: Tom Brady will feature exclusive interviews with both legendary quarterbacks, but now fans will also get to hear audio from the conversations.
Brady’s dominance, longevity and inconceivable rise from being a sixth round draft pick to a six-time Super Bowl winner with bumps and scandals along the way will all be covered in the podcast. As will his friendship with Donald Trump and the move from New England to Tampa Bay.
“With never-before-heard interviews with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Robert Kraft and others, acclaimed sports journalist and bestselling author Gary Myers brings us the definitive account of the greatest career in NFL history,” the podcast description reads.
Myers has covered the NFL for more than four decades, spending 29 of those years with New York Daily News before parting ways with the publication in 2018. The first episode of his new series debuts Monday, Oct. 5 in conjunction with iHeartRadio and Diversion Podcasts.
