Twitter Demands Around The Horn Mute Button For Next Debate

This wasn’t anything new for sports fans. Opinionated, passionate, polarizing, at times entertaining, at times frightening, Tuesday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden had a lot of similarities to a great sports argument.

Social media rapidly drew comparisons between the presidential debate and popular sports debate shows such as Around The Horn, Pardon The Interruption and First Take. But the sports shows have a better ability to stick to the clock and the topic, while Trump and Biden interrupted each other much more than Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser ever have in their near 20 years on TV together.

The country is without question divided politically, but for one night, most of America came together in demand of a mute button for the next presidential debate and nobody operates a mute button better than ESPN’s Tony Reali.
