Donald Trump continues utilizing sports media members that are supportive of him to spread the messages of his re-election campaign. The latest writer to get time with the President is Outkick’s Jason Whitlock. A video of their interview is up now at Outkick.com.
Whitlock’s Outkick colleague Clay Travis has previously welcomed the President to his FOX Sports Radio show twice. Trump also sat down for an interview with Barstool’s Dave Portnoy earlier this year.
The President spoke with Whitlock about the return of Big Ten football, something he has been actively taking credit for in his public appearances of late, and his relationship with the Black community.
Outkick has been promoting the interview in a major way. Whitlock was on FOX News earlier this week to talk about the interview.
“I think we have been carrying on a facade for three-and-a-half years as Black men that somehow we can’t relate to Donald Trump, that we didn’t celebrate him in hip-hop music for decades, that he wasn’t friends with countless Black athletes, entertainers, celebrities,” Whitlock said on Tucker Carlson’s primetime show.
Whitlock also issued a statement to Front Office Sports calling the interview “a great experience”.
