Tucker Carlson’s Interview With Tony Bobulinski Draws Huge Audience

Nearly eight million people tuned in for a Fox News exclusive interview Tuesday with a former business associate of Hunter Biden who claims the Biden family ignored concerns Joe Biden’s alleged ties to his son’s business dealings could hurt his shot to become president.

Tucker Carlson host of Tucker Carlson Tonight sat down with retired U.S. Navy lieutenant  Tony Bobulinski who said he raised concerns to Jim Biden nearly three years ago about Joe Biden’s alleged ties to a possible joint venture with a Chinese energy firm.

DePauw University professor and media critic Jeffrey McCall told the network that the story is getting the silent treatment on other mainstream networks. “Of course, there are lots of stories that need to be covered in the busy 2020 news agenda, but the total omission of Bobulinski’s accusations is curious, to say the least.”

Carlson’s interview with Bobulinski topped the heavily promoted season premiere of NBC’s “This Is Us” to finish as the No. 3 program in all of television on Tuesday, finishing behind only FOX’s World Series Game 6 and NBC’s “The Voice.”

Nearly two million people in the “money demographic” of adults age 25-54, tuned in to the show. Tuesday’s show was Carlson’s most watched show of 2020.” “It is pretty much a 100 percent blackout of the Bobulinski story in the traditional media,” McCall said.

While CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post chose not to run the story, six-million people stuck around to watch Hannity following the blockbuster interview.

“Odds are that most mainstream media outlets are devoting very few reporting resources, if any, to the Bobulinski story,” McCall added. “It would seem those outlets could at least be investigating the accusations to try to prove them invalid.”Fox News’ primetime lineup finished October with the highest-rated month in cable news history – beating primetime TV heavyweights such as ABC’s “The Bachelorette” in the process.
