FOX News Boasts Best November Ratings in Network History

Like many other news media outlets, Fox News saw an increase in ratings leading up to the 2020 Presidential election. However, the network didn’t see a drop off in ratings once it was over.

With the election dragging on for nearly a week and President Trump refusing to concede, Fox News saw the highest November ratings in their history, citing Nielsen Media Research.

Shows such as “Hannity,” “The Ingraham Angle,” and “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” had their best-rated month among viewers 25-54.

The network led both CNN and MSNBC in total prime-time viewers, with 3.93 million. However, MSNBC led CNN and Fox News in total day viewer growth, which saw an increase of 32 percent. Despite not boasting the same number of ratings, MSNBC did see an increase this November.

From the 9 a.m. to 4 p.m time slot, MSNBC grew in viewership since the last presidential election in 2016. The network’s viewership increased 132 percent during this period, compared with 94 percent for CNN and minus 7 percent for Fox News.
