Greg Gutfeld Getting His Own Nightly Show at FOX News

Fox News has promoted The Five’s Greg Gutfeld to host his own show that will air on weekday nights starting at 11:00. The network will reportedly move Shannon Bream’s show to midnight.

Outkick first reported the story.

“This feels like the perfect next step following the amazing success of the weekend show, which is due in large part to a great staff and a management that lets the show follow its own unique path,” Gutfeld said in a statement.

Gutfeld’s show currently airs on Saturday at 10:00 p.m. A new show will reportedly be announced soon.

“People need a reason to laugh. Greg’s unique and irreverent talk show has been an incredible success, often beating the late-night broadcast competition, despite its Saturday timeslot,” Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.

The network’s decision to move Gutfeld to the weekday night slot is just the latest in a series of moves that has occurred following an election that put the once dominant network on the ratings chopping block.
