Keith Olbermann Jumps Into Good Miller/Dave Portnoy Feud

A harmless question-and-answer session on Twitter during TSN and NBC hockey commentator Gord Miller’s free time quickly turned into a back and forth social media exchange. A Twitter user’s initial question asked when he would appear on the Barstool Sports podcast Spittin’ Chiclets.

Miller commented that it was a no-go from him and would later explain why sighting “history of unapologetic misogyny, racism, xenophobia and the repeated condoning of non-consensual sex.” The explanation caught the attention of Barstool founder Dave Portnoy, who would defend his brand.

Before expressing his views on the matter, broadcaster Keith Olbermann offered a quick tweet offering encouragement after Miller explained why he wouldn’t appear on Barstool’s Spittin’ Chiclets. Hours later, Olbermann commented on the matter by responding to Portnoy’s tweet.

“It is impossible to “slander” a company made up of and devoted to moronic sleazebaggery,” Olbermann tweeted.

Portnoy nor anyone affiliated with Barstool has responded to Olbermann’s tweet criticizing the media outlet’s culture.
