Former Fox News Radio personality Todd Starnes has inked a deal to join the Salem Podcast Network. The Todd Starnes Podcast will officially join the network on April 5.
“Salem is known for its cutting-edge platforms and excellence-driven programming,” Starnes said. “I’m honored to join such a well-respected industry leader like the Salem Podcast Network.”
In 2017, Starnes was hired to host a syndicated radio show on Fox News Radio. In 2019, the network chose not to renew his contract when a guest on his show claimed that Democrats worship Moloch, an ancient demonic god to whom children were sacrificed.
“SPN is delighted to join in this partnership with Todd Starnes, one of the leading voices in conservative America,” said SalemMedia Group SVP of spoken word Phil Boyce. “His courage in saying what needs to be said is unmatched. His knowledge and ability to explain what is really going on is his forte.”
With this deal, the Salem Podcast Network assumes distribution, marketing, and sales duties for the Todd Starnes Podcast.
In 2020, Starnes purchased The Mighty 990 in Memphis from Legacy Media for $685,000.
