The entire news media landscape is providing coverage on the verdict that found Derek Chauvin being found guilty of murdering George Floyd.
On Fox News, contributor Ted Williams, a former D.C. homicide detective, laid into co-host Greg Gutfeld over his comments on the verdict during “The Five” broadcast. Mediaite relayed the contentious dialogue between the two.
Gutfeld surprised his co-host, who groaned after he stated, “I’m glad that he was found guilty on all charges, even if he might not be guilty of all charges.”
Following the statement by Gutfeld, Williams’ entered the discussion and went on to say that “The Five” co-host was off his medication in a heated confrontation.
“I heard Greg a few minutes ago, and I gotta tell you, I don’t know — Greg is off his meds if he believes that there was not evidence, that’s what I’m saying.” Gutfeld would respond right away to Williams’ claims about being off his medication.
“Excuse me?!” Gutfeld said. “What did you say? What did you say?! Excuse me?!”
