MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski had a moment of disagreement on Wednesday morning’s edition of “Morning Joe” when the two joked about needing a “marriage counselor.”
The two co-hosts have been together hosting the morning program for a few years, and there will be instances where they don’t see eye to eye on a particular topic, which in this case was why murder rates are rising.
“People don’t want to know the answer. You can give them. They don’t want to know the answer when those crimes are going up. I’ve given the answer. They get really mad, so we won’t give them. You know why. You know why. We won’t answer it, though,” Scarborough said.
“Oh, my God,” Brzezinski said. “Such an awkward ending to a block.”
“See what I said? See what I said? See what I said? Nobody wants to hear this: Cops are back on their heels. Good cops are back on their heels right now,” Scarborough responded.
The segment would end with a light-hearted laugh after co-host Willie Geist declaring, “We’re back, baby!”
