Fox News’s Tucker Carlson appeared on the conservative podcast “Ruthless.” One of the topics of conversations was over the network hosts possibly running for president in 2024.
However, that idea does not intrigue Carlson, as he stated there’s no plan on running for president any time soon.
“Oh God, come on! Yeah. I’ll be running,” Carlson said. “That seems like a fun job. I’m sure my poor children would love that. Can you imagine?”
“I’ve known and talked to every president, you know, for a while, for like more than 30 years. And you know, I can’t think of anyone whose life was improved by that. I mean, I guess if like I was the last person on earth, I could do it, but I mean, it seems pretty unlikely that I would be that guy.”
The response was Carlson’s latest statement regarding interest in running for president. Conversation of a possible Carlson White House declaration has taken place given the notoriety of his Fox News show, which is frequently the most highly-rated show on cable television.
