Seattle radio host Jason Rantz slammed disgraced former anchor Dan Rather after he criticized pro-life Americans on Twitter.
Rather’s tweet sought to defend the Biden administration’s decision to leave vulnerable women in Afghanistan following a Taliban-imposed August 31 withdrawal.
“It’s worth noting that many of the same people attacking the Biden Administration for leaving women’s rights behind in Afghanistan are eager to control women’s bodies and choices in the United States,” Rather tweeted.
Rantz tweeted that people used to take Rather seriously before he was fired by CBS in 2006 for producing fake documents to a story related to former President George W. Bush’s National Guard service.
“Then he was pushed out of the news as a disgrace,” Rantz said. “Now, he’s just leaning into his brand.”
Rantz was criticized by some following his tweet rebuttal. One person called him “idiotic,” and another “mind-numbingly stupid.”
