Virginia Gubernatorial Candidate Terry McCauliffe Walks Out of Interview

WJLA-TV in Washington D.C. said Virginia Gubernatorial candidate Terry McCauliffe (D) recently walked out of an interview at the halfway point citing poor choice of questions asked by the reporter.

Nick Minock was tasked with conducting two interviews with the opposing candidates for governor – one with former governor McCauliffe and the other with businessman Glenn Youngkin (R).

tweet from Brent Scher of the Washington Free Beacon shows McCauliffe telling Minock that he was ending the interview.

“Alright, we are over. That’s it. That’s it. Hey, I gave you extra time,” said the former governor. “C’mon man. You should have asked better questions early on. You should have asked questions your viewers care about.”

Polling indicates both candidates are very close with Youngkin holding a slight lead.

“If you watch those entire interviews on our website, we do want to point out that the Terry McCauliffe interview is shorter than our interview with Glenn Youngkin,” said an ABC7 anchor during a Tuesday broadcast. “That was not our doing.”
