Outkick founder and syndicated radio host Clay Travis is speaking about the drama at Netflix that started with comedian Dave Chapelle pushing back against the cancel culture.
Travis shared his thoughts during a video tweet Thursday.
“We have entered into a space where people think they are the good guys for trying to cancel comedians and tell them what jokes they can and cannot say,” said Travis.
Hundreds of Netflix employees walked out of work in protest of the streaming platform’s controversial Dave Chappelle special.
“The woke universe cannot handle any form of disagreement. They are completely committed to the authoritarianism of their perspective.”
The employees walking out included Netflix’s “Most” Team — a social team dedicated to the company’s LGBTQ+ content.
