Although 2021 isn’t a significant election year, there’s plenty of gubernatorial, state-level, and local mayoral elections taking place across the United States on November 2nd. NBC News will be experimenting with its streaming platform to provide coverage of these elections.
The network announced that Chuck Todd and Kristen Welker will be anchoring its coverage in a “Meet the Press: Election Night Special” on NBC News Now beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
“We are doing an Election Night for people that really care about Election Night, that really care about why this person is winning, what’s going on here,” Todd said in an interview. “I do think we can be ‘niche-ier,’ if you will, with an experience that we can really work out on.”
Todd and Welker will be providing the latest on New Jersey’s gubernatorial race between Democratic incumbent Phil Murphy and Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli.
The show also covers local mayoral races in New York City, Boston, and Minneapolis; the contentious school board elections in Southlake, Texas; and more.
Todd and Welker will be joined by colleagues Andrea Mitchell, Joshua Johnson, and other NBC News journalists.

You must be a liberal hack because you did not mention the ONE RACE that is the most likely to flip from Dems to Republicans, in VA. Clearly you did not mention it because you do not want people to know about a race Dems will lose. Also there are races in West Coast cities as well but you are a NY Hack who most likely has never been west of Chicago.
