Correspondent Jaboukie Young-White Exits “The Daily Show”

“The Daily Show” is saying goodbye to one of its correspondents as Deadline reports that Jaboukie Young-White has exited the Comedy Central program.

Young-White’s choice to depart the show seems mutual since the report states that host Trevor Noah and the team support the correspondent’s decision. The comedian is working on various television and film projects that are filling up his time.

One of the projects Young-White is working on off-screen is with Issa Rae and her production company Hoorae. The partnership is developing a series for HBO based on Vanessa R. Panfil’s “The Gang’s All Queer: The Lives of Gay Gang Members.”

Another off-screen project Young-White is working on involves a script for an animated which draws inspiration from the music of the late rapper Juice WRLD. However, the former correspondent plans to continue making on-screen appearances.

Young-White recently starred in a romantic comedy film “Dating & New York” and has a recurring role on Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.”
