The ACC will announce its 2022 football schedule in primetime next week. ACC Network will reveal the schedule for its 14 schools on Monday, Jan. 14 during a two-hour special titled The Huddle: 2022 Football Schedule Reveal. The show will air at 7 p.m. ET.
Jordan Cornette will host the schedule reveal special with analysts Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel, and Mark Richt breaking down the season slate for each of the 14 ACC teams.
Key matchups throughout the season and particular weeks to highlight will be featured and discussed on the show. During the second hour of the program from 8 to 9 p.m. ET, ACC football coaches will appear live to react to their schedules.
Additionally, dates for each ACC schools Spring Football games will be announced during the special.
For those possibly tuning in to ACC Network for the first time, Mac Lain was an offensive lineman at Clemson from 2011 through 2015, Manuel played quarterback for Florida State from 2008 through 2012, and Richt coached Miami from 2015 through 2018, was an assistant at FSU for 11 seasons, and played at The U as a QB.
Cornette, who played basketball at Notre Dame from 2001 through 2005, joined ACC Network at its 2019 launch following a season as a college hoops analyst for ESPN. He also currently hosts SportsNation on ESPN+ with wife Shae Peppler Cornette.
The ACC’s football schedule release follows announcements by the SEC on Sept. 21, Big 12 on Dec. 1, Pac-12 on Dec. 16, and Big Ten on Jan. 12.
