Erick Erickson Adds Two More Affiliate Radio Stations

According to Talkers, syndicated talk show host Erick Erickson added two more radio stations to his affiliate lineup.

Erickson has been hosting shows on WSB for ten years. In 2019, Cox-owned WGAU in Athens, Georgia, picked up a simulcast of Erickson’s WSB show.

Last May, Cox Media Group announced it was syndicating Erickson’s show.

“We’re excited to announce this partnership,” CMG Senior VP of Radio Rob Babin said in a release at the time. “Erick has performed successfully for many years on 95.5 WSB Radio, and no doubt, he’ll make an impact as the Erick Erickson show expands.”

The two new stations added Erickson’s show include Audacy-owned News & Talk 840 AM in Las Vegas and 1430 KYKN in Salem, Oregon.

“In every Nielsen PPM market carrying his show, either live or delayed, Erickson is generating higher ratings than the show he replaced, including Rush Limbaugh’s show in Atlanta, Georgia on Erickson’s flagship station, WSB Radio,” the show said in a statement.

“Erickson is also seeing robust digital growth. From June to December 2021, Erickson’s live-streaming audience increased 339%, and his podcast audience grew 188%.”
