Volodymyr Zelensky: Vladimir Putin Might Not Be Receiving Accurate Information

In an exclusive interview with ABC News that aired Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of living in an “informational bubble with no oxygen.”

The interview conducted by David Muir centered on Russian demands and what it might take to end the nearly two-week war in Ukraine.

“He is in this bubble. … You don’t know how realistic that information is that he’s getting,” Zelensky said.

President Zelenskyy has been hailed as a hero for his refusal to leave his country and for his theatrical press conference that has struck a defiant tone. Zelensky said he is not willing to discuss the three conditions that the Kremlin has laid out for a potential end to the war.

“This is another ultimatum, and we are not prepared for ultimatums,” said Zelenskyy, who wore an olive-green military-style outfit. “But we have possible resolutions for these three items, key items.”

Some experts say Russia and Ukraine are not necessarily far apart on the three key disputes.
