A book that will be released next month will detail how President Joe Biden feels about Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch.
“This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future,” written by New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, document the 2020 election and the first year of the Biden presidency.
According to CNN, the book shows how both political parties confronted a series of national traumas, including the coronavirus pandemic and the January 6 attack on the U.S.Capitol.
Biden’s feelings about Murdoch are summed up in a few words late in the book. Biden reportedly believes the head of Fox News is “one of the most destructive forces in the United States.”
The President believes Fox is a “torrent of anti-Biden programming, stoking skepticism about vaccines and disseminating wild conspiracy theories about the January 6 attack.”
In January, Biden was caught on a “hot mic” calling Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a bitch,” after Doocy pressed him for answers about inflation.
Biden has never spoken about the Murdochs in public. Last October, at a CNN town hall, Biden said, “I turn on Fox to find out how popular I am.”
