This week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter for $44-billion and has plans to take the company private. With Musk now owning one of the more influential platforms, many are becoming aware of the entrepreneur if they hadn’t known about him already.
As a result, Fox News is attempting to inform those who might not know who Musk is as they’ll be running a special “Who Is Elon Musk?” on their streaming platform on one of the richest men on the planet.
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade will host the special, which airs on Thursday, April 28th, and includes interviews with FOX Business’ Stuart Varney and Liz Claman, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, and Heritage Foundation Fellow Kara Frederick.
“The special will explore the life of Elon Musk – from building electric cars and spaceships, buying Twitter, and dating Amber Heard, the richest man in the world always makes news,” the press release said, which was obtained by Barrett Media.
Upon purchasing the company, Musk wants the platform to be better than ever, both on the free speech aspect and improving certain features.
“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said in a statement.
“I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spambots, and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential — I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”
