Fox Weather is branching out from television to an audio platform. The weather service, which debuted this past October, will grow its reach to Fox News Audio, launching a new daily podcast, “FOX Weather Update Podcast.”
The podcast will provide multiple weather updates throughout the day with a rotation of a meteorologist. The program will also include breaking news coverage on major systems impacting the country.
In addition, Fox Weather will be delivering hourly weather updates on Fox News Headlines 24/7 beginning at 6 AM/ET on Monday, May 2nd. As a result, listeners can expect weather forecasts four times per hour on the radio station found on SiriusXM channel 115.
“Utilizing the resources of FOX Weather’s expansive newsgathering operations and 120 meteorologists, listeners will now be able to get national weather updates on the channel throughout the day,” the press release said, which Barrett Media obtained.
FOX Weather is a 24/7 free ad-supported television service (FAST) operated by FOX News Media with a combined 120 meteorologists for a complete suite of weather content featuring local, regional, and national reporting and live programming.
