In March, former CNN host and producer at Fox News, Rick Sanchez, announced that he was launching his podcast network called Agua Media, with “The Rick Sanchez L’Attitude” being the flagship show.
The marquee show now has a debut date as Sanchez’s show will launch on May 17th, where his first guest will be Jeff Valdez, Showrunner for the HBO Max show, “The Garcias.” Furthermore, he will also provide his unique insights about the demise of his former network’s streaming service, CNN+.
“Despite the decline in media coverage of English-speaking Latinos in the United States, Latino+™ podcast listeners are growing year after year,” Sanchez said in a press release obtained by Barrett News Media.
“With 60.5 million Hispanic Americans representing close to 20% of the entire U.S. population, Agua Media’s debut podcast aims to reach this New American Mainstream by putting Latino+™ stories at the forefront of its portfolio.”
Along with the debut date for his show, Sanchez’s following two episodes will air on May 31st and June 14th. He will be discussing Latinos in the military and those in the entrepreneurial business with Jerry Porras.
