Spotify’s Joe Rogan is praising Fox News for taking a bold stance in his defense following his attempted cancellation several months ago.
Rogan endured mounds of criticism for his stance on COVID vaccines and his use of the n-word which surfaced from old conversations that he had with other people. Spotify artists Neil Young, India Arie, David Crosby, and others gave Spotify an ultimatum which the platform ultimately ignored.
The New York Post published Rogan’s comments which were reportedly made during his podcast Tuesday.
“They had my back through all the crazy s–t that happened to me. It was Fox News that f–king had my back,” Rogan said.
Rogan believes the Democratic party has taken a hard left turn and that its position on free speech has shifted.
“Today the left has gone so far left, so radical that the right are the ones celebrating comedians, celebrating Chappelle,” Rogan said.
“I am not a conservative, but I am pro-Second Amendment, and I am a hunter, and I am a cage fighting commentator, and I drink, and I smoke cigars, and I like to bow hunt,” he added.
