New Report Details Hush Payments, Sexual Misconduct Allegations Of Vince McMahon

Hush payments aren’t cheap. Vince McMahon knows that first hand.

The WWE chairman and CEO has taken a leave from those roles while the company investigates payments he made to female employees to cover up affairs. When the investigation began, the Wall Street Journal reported it was over a single $3 million payment. Now, the paper says it is much more than that.

In a new report, Joe Palazollo, Joe Flint and Ted Mann reveal that over the past sixteen years, four women received over $12 million in hush money “to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity”.

The report also details the way Vince McMahon mistreated and used some female employees. A female wrestler he coerced into performing oral sex on him received a $7.5 million payment. Another that he reportedly sent unsolicited nude photos to received $1 million.

McMahon has made multiple appearances on WWE’s television programs since the investigation began. He has stayed in character according to ongoing storylines.
