Alyssa Farah Griffin to Represent Trump Voters on ‘The View’

One of the newest additions on “The View” said that she’s looking forward to having candid discussions with guests who are different from her.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served as former Vice President Mike Pence’s Press Secretary, previewed the show’s upcoming season Monday.

According to Fox News Digital, Griffin said that she’s looking forward to representing the 74 million Americans who voted for former President Donald Trump.

“I’ve also since criticized the former president, but I still want to be a voice for the 74 million Americans who voted for him, and kind of tell them, from my experience, here’s why I won’t support him again, but here’s what a future Republican Party can and should look like,” said Griffin.

On Tuesday “The View” will welcome former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton. The duo is expected to discuss their new docu-series.

Last month, the show added Griffin and Anna Navarro to balance out its political discussion. Both women have worked at CNN, and both have been critical of Donald Trump in the past.

“There’s a whole host of nuance in between both of the parties,” added Griffin.
