SuperTalk 99.7 WTN morning host Dan Mandis lamented the media coverage of the January 6th Committee and how much notoriety it gets.
“You know what’s funny? (Matt Murphy’s) absolutely right when he talks about CNN, MSNBC, and social media. We do have two separate realities. You have what is really going on. Which is what Americans are dealing with. Like rampant inflation. And what the news — the network news — is covering. Did you know that last night on — I think it was — ABC. They had a graphic — ABC — devoted eight minutes to the January 6th hearing but only seconds to inflation. Unbelievable. It’s unbelievable but it is very believable. It’s not surprising. Let’s put it that way.”
The comments from Mandis came after he joked that Matt Murphy, the afternoon host on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, continues to leave the television in the studio on CNN to mess with Mandis.
“Just to show you how absolutely insane the networks are — by the way, who keeps putting this television on CNN? The last guy that is in this studio is Matt Murphy. So, I wanna know why Murphy’s show keeps putting it back on CNN.”
However, Mandis did say he agreed with CNN for putting out a somewhat sarcastic story that American’s care more about the cost of french fries than they do about January 6th, calling the network’s story “damn right”.
