The Radio Advertising Bureau has hired Bob Lawrence as General Manager of the National Radio Talent System.
Lawrence will report to RAB President and CEO Erica Farber as the organization aims to reboot five National Radio Talent System institutes in the coming year.
“NRTS plays an important role in RAB’s mission to develop and attract new talent to radio,” said RAB President/CEO Erica Farber. “Bringing in a strong leader that can hit the ground running and further develop our vision, build on the strategy of the past institutes and grow the program is key to our future. I’m excited to partner with Bob Lawrence as we further develop NRTS.”
Lawrence most recently worked as the General Manager and Market Manager of New South Radio in Jackson and Meridian, Mississippi, and was previously the Vice President of Programming for Saga Communications.
The RAB acquired the NTRS in 2020, and managed it by a Board chaired by Kristin Cantrell of Seven Mountains Media, in addition to an NRTS Alumni Advisory Council which helped focus the organization’s development and plan for future institutes.
