Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) hit back at “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd while also praising Fox News during his appearances on Monday’s edition of “Hannity.”
On Sunday, Johnson and Todd debated whether Hunter Biden committed a crime while trading off his family’s name. Nonetheless, while on Fox News, the politician stated that he doesn’t consider media members like Todd journalists.
“Unfortunately, you have the vast majority of people in the mainstream media; they’re not journalists anymore,” Johnson told “Hannity” guest host Pete Hegseth (h/t Mediaite).
“They’re advocates for the Democrat party. And so, they see things from a completely biased and slanted view, the viewpoint of the left. And so, like so many other leftists, they don’t believe that there’s any other viewpoint that’s valid.”
Johnson ended the bashing of Todd by applauding how Fox News conducts itself by being fair and balanced in his opinion.
“He’s not fair and balanced,” he added. “Fox News is about as fair and balanced as you can get. You present both sides. The mainstream doesn’t do that.”
