During a press conference earlier this week, the House Oversight Committee held a press conference to allege wrongdoing by President Joe Biden and his family members. Radio host Mike Gallagher took issue with the availability not being broadcast on several cable news outlets.
During The Mike Gallagher Show, he originally questioned why media members continually edit statements from former President Trump on the day of the January 6th Insurrection.
“Why do you suppose the media always edited out what Trump said on January 6th? Where he encouraged people to peacefully protest,” Gallagher questioned. “Why do they never include that piece of audio from the podium that day? Because they’re corrupt. The media is corrupt. They are filthy.”
He then made his larger point that the press conference from the Oversight Committee implicating Biden and eight other family members receiving payments from foreign governments should have been the biggest news story of the day. However, only two cable networks broadcasting the remarks irked Gallagher.
“CNN and MSNBC didn’t cover the press conference. The only network that covered was Fox News, and apparently Newsmax. CNN and MSNBC blacked it out. It was a blackout. They won’t touch it. That’s how corrupt today’s news media is,” concluded Gallagher.
