Bloomberg reporter Angelica Peebles is making her return to CNBC. The network announced the hiring of Peebles Tuesday.
Peebles previously worked at CNBC.com as a consumer health reporter from 2017 to 2020. She then joined Bloomberg where she covered the biotech space from the company’s Boston bureau.
She’ll cover a similar beat for CNBC, working as a health and pharmaceutical reporter. In her new role, she’ll be based at the company’s New Jersey headquarters.
“Angelica’s expertise in covering one of the largest sectors in the U.S. economy – from cutting-edge biotech to obesity drug development to M&A – makes her well-suited to deliver crucial pieces of the market narrative to investors and executives in the CNBC orbit,” CNBC Senior Vice President of Business News Dan Colarusso wrote in a memo to staff announcing the addition.
Her first day with CNBC will be Tuesday, September 5th.
