The CBS Sports team of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo drew heat on social media Monday evening. The two men were criticized for a missed call and odd commentary about MLK during the Steelers/Bills game.
Romo in particular took most of the hits.
The first half, which saw the Bills jump out to a 21-0 lead, had an awkward exchange on a play between Romo and Nantz. What appeared initially to be an interception was ruled incomplete.
Romo even found himself speaking awkwardly about Martin Luther King Jr.. That led to more negative attention.
Eventually it became a pile on of Romo.
Viewers tired of hearing Romo gush over Josh Allen are about to be disappointed again. Jim and Tony are calling the upcoming Chiefs-Bills playoff game.
