Both ‘First Take’ and ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ Record Most-Viewed Episodes on January 15

Two more high-profile sports shows recorded their most-watched days ever this past Monday. According to figures provided by ESPN, both First Take and The Pat McAfee Show posted their highest single-episode viewership for their Jan. 15 episodes.

First Take reached an average viewership of 1.5 million, surpassing its previous total by 500,000 viewers.

Meanwhile, McAfee reached “unparalleled” viewership numbers according to ESPN across linear and digital channels. The show reached its record high of 811,000 linear viewers, up 70 percent over its previous high, and 946,000 total viewers across linear, YouTube, and ESPN+. In total, the Jan. 15 show hit 3.25 million total views.

Other ESPN shows joined the party on Monday, too. Get Up set a record for show viewership on Monday, hitting 979,000 viewers, up 34 percent from the previous high of 730,000 viewers a little over a year ago on Jan. 3, 2023. Monday’s 2 p.m. ET edition of SportsCenter posted its largest single-day audience since its launch in September. The show averaged 727,000 viewers, up 76 percent from its previous high of 414,000 earlier this month on Jan. 2. The great day culminated with NFL Live, which earned an audience of 937,000 viewers for its special Super Wild Card edition from 3-4 p.m. ET.

This news follows news from FS1, where The Herd with Colin Cowherd posted record viewership on Jan. 15 as well.
