Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is releasing clips from his recent trip to Russia, where he interviewed President Vladimir Putin. One of the clips that he shared is from a trip on Moscow’s subway station.
Carlson wanted to know how the station that was built during the Joseph Stalin era was doing. He notes that it’s nicer than anything in the United States, and afterward, music played behind as footage of the station was shown.
There’s been plenty of reaction to the clips that Carlson has shared on X; one of them came from former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, who labeled the clip as propaganda.
“Check out the music in the second half of this,” Hasan wrote on X. “Not sure how you describe this as anything other than pure propaganda.”
CNN’s Chris Wallace recently criticized his former colleague, as he stated that in the past, gullible Western media members spread Soviet Union propaganda during the Cold War.
