After five years as Chief Revenue Officer at Magellan AI, John Goforth has announced he is stepping down. Goforth will remain with the company in a strategic advisory role, however, his day-to-day responsibilities have ended.
In a post on LinkedIn, Goforth said, “For the last five years I’ve had the extreme pleasure of working alongside Cameron Hendrix and Rex Madden and the rest of the extremely talented members of the team at Magellan AI to build a best-in-class data and analytics platform for the podcast ad world. Along the way we added the incomparable Jim Ballas to lead measurement services and now are the market leader there as well. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished.”
Goforth said an announcement on his next move is forthcoming and that he would be returning to his roots on the publishing side of things.
“Today I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone at Magellan AI for their hard work, compassion, tireless dedication to our customers, grit, determination, and above all else – desire to win. A company doesn’t go from where it was when I joined to the size it is today without an absolutely stellar group of folks all rowing in the same direction.
