The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Atlanta Radio Vet Yvonne Monet has left Cumulus Media’s Top 40 WWWQ (Q99.7)/Atlanta, where she was the midday host.
It was her second tour of duty with the station, most recently joining in January 2021. She also worked at the station from 1992 to 2003, when it was Modern Rock 99X.

She previously worked on the on-air teams at the now-defunct “Dave FM” WZGC and the former Modern Rock KDGE in Dallas.
Monet has also worked as a DJ at several Atlanta nightclubs, became one of only 100 Billboard DJs in the country to shape the national dance charts, and won various DJ competitions and awards.
The Journal-Constitution further reports that Mami Chula is now hosting middays.
