77 WABC Host Sid Rosenberg Uninjured in Tel Aviv Missile Strike

"Thank God we are all ok."

Date:

77 WABC morning host Sid Rosenberg broadcast his program from Israel last week, marking the third time he’s been to the Jewish nation to cover happenings in that country.

However, a missile strike in Tel Aviv near the airport led many to wonder about the New York radio host’s safety.

But in a post to social media, Rosenberg shared that he was unharmed.

“Getting a bunch of texts from the States asking if I’m ok after the rocket attack in Tel Aviv by the airport this morning,” Rosenberg wrote. “Thank God we are all ok. We are currently many miles away in Judea and Samaria in Shilo. We are not flying out until 7 p.m. Israel time tonight. Thank you.”

Early Monday morning, the 77 WABC host shared that he had returned home safely, thanking organizations like the One Israel Fund, the Jewish News Syndicate, the Jerusalem Post, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their hospitality and protection during the trip.

During his trip to Israel, Sid Rosenberg was appointed to the Board of Directors of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum by President Donald Trump.

“This Council has the important task of preserving the memories and stories of the loved ones whose lives were robbed in one of the darkest moments in History,” Trump wrote in a post to Turth Social that named Rosenberg, along with seven others, to the board.

Sid Rosenberg told Artuz Sheva-Israel National News that “Finding out about this honor while standing in Israel — on my third mission here since October 7th — was surreal. I’ve always used my voice to fight antisemitism, to defend Israel, and to speak the truth when too many stay silent.”
