A report from Josina Anderson claimed there is “behind-the-scenes talk” that one of the leagues three longest tenured head coaches is considering stepping aside. Many wondered if she meant Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. 93.7 The Fan morning host Colin Dunlap said it’s difficult to take Anderson’s reporting as truth after what he called previous inaccuracies.
“Is this a media creation or is there truth? Josina Anderson has had a few media creations in her past,” Dunlap said. “One very notable one was a racial epithet was thrown by a member of the Cleveland Browns whenever Mason Rudolph was involved in a very precarious position that involved getting hit with his own football helmet. All of that situation with Myles Garrett — for me — turned out that when you got to the other side of it turned out to be a media creation by Josina Anderson. That was just my opinion on all this. That being said, is she up to that again or is there really some fire and she’s putting out some smoke?”
Anderson later clarified her tweet mentioned by Dunlap by saying she meant “three of some of the longest tenured head coaches”.
