In total, the company saw $51.7 million in revenue during January, February, and March. That’s down from the $58.6 million it saw during the first quarter of 2024.

Digital revenue also fell from $10.7 million last year to $10.2 million. It also saw a slight drop in its publishing division from $1.8 million down to $1.6 million.

The quarterly loss seen by the broadcaster rose from $5.1 million last year to $7.1 million this year. It cited restructuring costs related to the sale of its Contemporary Christian formatted stations to Education Medial Foundation in cities like Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, and Los Angeles, among others. That sale followed the sale of three other stations — in Nashville, Honolulu, and Little Rock — in 2024.

Salem Media Group did not provide any further guidance on its expected performance in the upcoming quarters.
