ESPN 980 Washington Redskins reporter Chris Russell is exiting the station.
Russell tweeted Thursday, “Thanks 2 all of my supporters (six yrs) & 980 over last 5 yrs. I appreciate you. @ESPNRadio980 has told me they’re not renewing my contract.” He had been with ESPN 980 since 2010 and previously worked at crosstown rival 106.7 The Fan and Sporting News Radio.
